Hitma attends single-use event 2022
September 13, 2022, Hitma has a stand at the single-use event in Corpus Leiden. The theme of the event is ‘Single-use – the next step’, where the focus is on the challenges and possibilities of single-use technology in bioprocessing, biotechnology and (bio)pharmaceutical production. The power of the Single-use event is the combination of table presentations with high-grade products and interesting speakers.
Program Single-use event
The single-use event focuses on the technology and product developments within the areas of continuous bioprocessing, Cell Culture Systems and Microbial Systems. Speakers from the industry and academic world talk to visitors about the latest developments in this market. Designs that will be brought up are among others USP, DSP, PAT, data management, validation, standardisation, service, chromatography in continuous bioprocessing, transition processes, QbD and flexible/multi-product facilities.
Merger Hitma and ESI Benelux
At the Single-use event Hitma will talk about the merger with ESI Benelux which will happen on the 1st of october this year. ESI Benelux and hitma are sister companies within the Indutrade holding. Before their focus was on single-use components and representation of exclusive brands. Now the demand from the pharmaceutical industry has shifted from components to complete single-use systems, the companies combine their strengths to help customers even better. During the single-use event visitors can meet the members of the new team.
For the assembling of single-use assemblies, the ISO9001:2015 certified production organisation Ultrapure International (UPI) in Uithoorn will remain the standard assemblage partner of the Hitma organisation.
Single-use becomes circular
The pharmaceutical industry wants to become more sustainable. Hitma helps customers with this by picking up unused expired single-use material for sustainable reusage. This way the company provides an alternative for the burning of these waste streams. Visitors of the single-use event that want to know more about this can visit the Hitma stand for information.
