The pharmaceutical industry need to adapt to ensure it is able to comply with prospective legislation in areas such as CO2 emissions and the circular economy.
Hitma helps customers in this by collecting unused expired single-use material for sustainable reuse.
How does the Hitma return and recycling service work?
With our return and recycling service, we offer pharmaceutical companies an alternative to incinerating waste streams of unused single-use plastics that have exceeded their expiry date. This will help you to meet sustainability requirements. We seek to create a transparent process that is better for our planet.
This means always being clear about where exactly returned materials go and providing the necessary documentation to confirm this. To ensure the process remains cost-effective, we ask for a monthly contribution of 500 euros. This is a fixed fee, irrespective of the amount of expired single-use material you have and the number of times per month that it needs to be collected.
