Assembly for syringe filling line
More and more hospital pharmacies now choose to fill their medication syringes with a filling machine. Groninger or Flexicon machines are often used for this. The hoses and bags needed to get the medication from the preparation vessel to the filling needle are available as a single-use assembly. Tubes, bags and connectors no longer need to be put together by the pharmacy’s staff. The assembly is delivered gamma-irradiated, so that it no longer needs to be autoclaved in the pharmacy.
Quality
Our single-use filling line assemblies consist of high-quality components like;

All these components are qualified for use in cGMP environments. They are made of materials that comply with USP class VI and have well-documented extractable profiles.
In some cases the desired dimensions for this assembly are so complex that an overmolded design is chosen. In that case, the double Y (the piece of hose that is in the peristaltic pump) is made out of one piece of silicone.
Because we work with Overlook needles, we are able to supply matching needles for the following filling machines: Groninger, Watson-Marlow Flexicon, Bausch, BoC Edwards, Bosch, Chase-Logeman, Cozzoli, Ima, Inova, Mar, Marchesini, M & O Perry and National Instrument / Falamatic.
Sterility
These sampling-bag assemblies form completely closed systems. They are assembled in our own cleanroom according to validated procedures. The sampling assemblies are part of our sterility program, which enables us to give an absolute sterility claim on our gamma-irradiated assemblies when required.
Open architecture
In addition to our own standard range of single-use components, we can integrate every component according to your specifications - as long as the components meet our minimum quality requirements. You can specify a single-use tubing, TC-clamp or other connector to have a single-use assembly built exactly to your wishes and requirements.
Flexibility
The assembly in the drawing below is an example. We can make any custom design. You can supply a drawing yourself, or have one of our specialists make a design based on your application. After agreement on the design, we can produce the assembly in any desired amount, with short delivery times.
