PureFit SPT-50 Sanitary silicone tubing
The SPT-50 hoses are "platinum-cured" and of pharmaceutical quality. This means that they can be used effectively to transport high-purity or sensitive biological fluids. With its excellent peristaltic pump life, the hose can also be used very well in a pump.
The inside of the PureFit hose is so smooth that proteins cannot bind and it prevents bacteria from growing. In addition, it is very easy to sterilize, it is resistant to decontamination methods such as autoclaving, ethylene oxide (EtO) and irradiation (up to 5 Mrad). Because the hose has no sticky exterior, it is also excellent for use in a peristaltic pump. The long service life in the pump ensures longer production cycles and minimizes the risk of pump failure. Finally, the hose has been developed in a state-of-the-art clean room. The tubing meets the requirements for USP class VI and the EP 3.1.9 criteria.
