Pharmed BPT biocompatible tubing
Pharmed®BPT biocompatible tubing is ideal for use in peristaltic pumps in biopharmaceutical processes. Pharmed®BPT tubing is less permeable for gases and vapours than silicone tubing and is ideal for processing sensitive cell cultures, fermentation, synthesis, separation and purification.
Pharmed®BPT tubing is designed to withstand the drawbacks of the operation of peristaltic pumps. With their superior bend resistance, Pharmed® tubing simplify the production processes by reducing downtime caused by defective pump tubing during production. The excellent wear durability of Pharmed® BPT leads to reduced erosion in the inner walls of the tubing, which improves the general efficiency of filter systems.

- Lasts up to 30 times longer than silicone tubing in peristaltic pumps
- Minimal splitting of particles
- Can be autoclaved and sterilised
- Temperature resistance of 15.5°C (60°F) to 135°C (275°F)
- Resistant to repeated CIP and SIP cleaning and sterilisation
- Complies with the criteria of USP Class VI and FDA
