Bio-Simplex carboy sealing systems
The Bio-Simplex™ carboy sealing systems are fitted with an EZ Top® stopper assembly and are designed to ensure the unobstructed flow of liquid, extremely low levels of leachables and extractables and a safe elastomer seal. These assemblies are manufactured from C-Flex® thermoplastic elastomer resin (TPE) for (bio)pharmaceutical applications. In addition, the EZ top® is also available in SaniTech silicone.
The sealing assembly consist of tubing, fittings with a standard stopper, a Bio-Simplex™ FlexJoint™, a 0.2 µM vent filter (for the sterile exchange of gases) and a sealing cap. It can be placed on existing carboys or can be a complete system consisting of a sealing assembly and a standard LDPE carboy. Customer-specific designs, materials, sizes, packaging and other options – such as rapid-action couplings, Luer couplings, heat-sealed tips or alternative carboy materials – are available on request.
